About Us

In Alec’s name, we have established the AJ Meyer Charitable Trust. By transforming loss into lifechanging action, our long-term mission is to provide a sober living refuge for those that have been medically over-prescribed. In addition to recovery housing, the Trust will support education, advocacy, and prevention efforts aimed at reforming prescribing practices, increasing accountability within medical systems, and supporting families navigating addiction and loss.

Through this mission, we seek to honor Alec Meyer’s life in preventing future suffering amongst service members, athletes, and young adults by creating pathways to sustain recovery and stability, ensuring that no family endures our suffering.
